Objectives:

• To search, use, and critically evaluate social science literature and secondary social science information
resources and services.
• To understand the current theories, methods, issues, and topics in the social sciences which affect the
creation, dissemination, and uses of social science literature and resources.
• To understand the information needs, uses, and communication patterns of social scientists and other users
of the social science literature.
