                 9.1.6 Drawing in Word

Word’s drawing features are built directly into Word. Using Word, the user can create vector
images, called “objects”. A Word drawing can comprise many objects, such as lines and circles.
These objects which you draw, appear directly on the page. You then can move them anywhere
                 on the page.

                 Using the Drawing Toolbar
                    • In Word, a drawing can be created using the Drawing toolbar.
                    • Click the Drawing button on the Standard toolbar.
                    • Figure below shows a floating drawing toolbar.

9.2 Setting Page Size and Margins

Working with sections is essential to create a page with multiple columns. Page formatting
includes margins, headers, footers, and page numbers.

                 Sections
Section breaks divide a document into sections. By default, Normal template creates and entire
document as a single section. Sections are used for any of the following type of formatting
                    • Columns
                    • Headers and Footers
                    • Margins
                    • Page Orientation
                    • Page Numbering
