Notes Marquee Options Bar

Located at the top of the stage are the options available for this tool. The first four icons seen here
allow one to add or subtract additional selections from a prior selection. Move the mouse over
each icon to see which does what.

The basic options available in the Marquee Tool are:

z Create a New Selection
z Add to a Selection
z Subtract from Selection

z Intersect with Selection
Now we will learn about each option in detail.

Selection Options

The first option is the selection option which is used to create a new selection. The steps to follow
are given below:

z Create any selection: Alternating white and black dashes indicated what has been selected.
Click away from a selection to immediately start another selection.
