                  Notes          3. The teeth    : Some consonant sounds are produced with the help of teeth, for example,
                                                   both version of /th/ sound in words like ‘think’ and ‘that’ ate produced by
                                                   the quick movement of tip of tongue between the upper and lower teeth.
                                 4. The teeth ridge : The teeth ridge is also known as the alveolar ridge. It is convex in shape, lying
                                                   between upper teeth and hard palate. It also helps in production of consonant
                                                   sounds like /t/ and /d/.
