A WPAN (wireless personal area network) is a personal area network - a network for Notes
interconnecting devices centered around an individual person’s workspace - in which the
connections are wireless.

The hardware required to connect a computer to a network is a network interface card (NIC).
Each network interface card has a unique number called a MAC address, which is a six-figure
hexadecimal number such as AB:1C:FF:56:4D:33.
A wireless router is a device that performs the functions of a router but also includes the functions
of a wireless access point.
It is commonly used to provide access to the Internet or a computer network.
