Introduction
In today’s professional world if anyone wants to succeed, each and every professional must
possess command over vocabulary. While keeping in view this need, knowledge of synonyms,
antonyms and homonyms are extremely important and they are covered in this unit.
3.1 Antonyms
An antonym is a word that has just the opposite meaning. For example, the word wet is an
antonym of the word dry.
