PMBOK: The PMBOK Guide defines the use of 21 processes that relate to planning out of the 39
processes for project management
Project Control: The term control has several meanings. Those new to project management are
initially dismayed by the use of the term “control,” because they mistakenly equate it with the
concept of authority.
Project controlling: It should be established as an independent function in project management.
It implements verification and controlling function during the processing of a project in order to
reinforce the defined performance and formal goals.
