            2.6  Summary

                  Classification aims at demonstrating the way in which the human intellect transforms the
                  chaos of sense impressions into a cosmos of concepts.
                  The CC, like- other scheme of classification, starts with a set of main classes which form the
                  first order array, of classes. Each main class is divided into facets.
                  Dewey Decimal Classification System (DCC) originally produced in 1876 by Melvil Dewey
                  for a small North American college library is currently one of the most popular Library
                  Classification Schemes.
