Constrained Line: This tool enables you to draw horizontal, vertical and 45-degree angle lines.
Frames: Frames are placeholders that let you design a layout without actual text or graphics.
Graphics: Elements like pictures that can be added on the PageMaker document.
Guides: Lines on the page that allow you line up text and graphic boxes.
Master Page: A Master Page is the page that contains basic formatting information, such as
guides, that you wish to use across a multiple page publication.
Page Icos: Identify the various functionalities of the document.
Pasteboard: The area surrounding the page(s) of your publication on the screen.
Publication: A newsletter, brochure, catalogue or other file that you have created with
PageMaker.
Ruler: They help you align and position objects.
Templates: A template is a predefined layout that you can copy and modify (if desired) for your
