6.5.8 Font Management
The font is defined as a group of letters, numbers and symbols with a common typeface.
In Windows 98:
• We can view and print a font sample by choosing Start >> Settings >> Control Panel
and clicking the Fonts icon and then double clicking on the desired font displayed in
the Fonts window.
• We can find the fonts that resemble each other by choosing View » List Fonts by
Similarity. Windows reorders the list to display fonts based on their similarity to the
first font in the list.
• New fonts can also be added. In the Fonts window, choose File » Install New Font.
A dialog box will appear. Navigate to the drive containing the font(s). Click on OK.
Windows installs the fonts.
