Unit 6: Introduction to CorelDraw

                                                                                                Notes

Notes When you hold down a chip on the color palette, a box with shades of that color
displays. By dragging to one of the shades of the first color, you can choose a shade of a
color quickly and apply it to a line or fill an object.
The following describes how to choose a colour from the default colour palette:

          1. To choose a fill colour for a selected object clicks a colour swatch.
          2. To choose an outline colour for a selected object right-click a colour swatch.
          3. To choose from different shades of a colour click and hold a colour swatch to display a
pop-up colour picker, and click a colour.
          4. To view more colours in the default colour palette click the scroll arrows at the top and
               bottom of the colour palette.

          6.2.5 Customizing the Workspace

You can create a custom workspace as per your requirements like customized color palettes or
          toolbars.

          6.2.6 Using Multiple Workspaces

A workspace specifies the arrangement of buttons and command bars when you open the
application. You can customize them as per need and also reset the current workspace to the
          default settings.

6.2.7 To Reset the Current Workspace

Hold down F8, and start the application. A dialog box appears asking if you want to overwrite
the current workspace with the factory default. Click Yes. The application will start using the
default settings for the currently selected workspace. You will lose any workspace customisation
          that you have done.

          6.2.8 Customizing Toolbars
