                    Notes          Ta-da List is yet another Web-based to-do list application. It is a minimalist, traditional tool to
                                   make lists of tasks you need to do. It’s perfect for people who like to keep things simple. Ta-da
                                   List takes a very traditional approach to to-do tools, create a list of things you need to do and
                                   mark off each item as you complete it. You can re-order, edit and delete lists, and once every
                                   item has been ticked, the list will disappear from your dashboard.

                                   4.5 Collaborating on Household Budgets


                                   You can minimize your household expenses by creating your budget on a Web-based spreadsheet
                                   program and collaborating with your family members on this household budget. With a
                                   Web-based spreadsheet program, such as Google Spreadsheets which is a part of the Google
                                   Docs suite you can easily create your budget with regular inputs in it from your family members.
                                   Google Spreadsheet can be defined as a Web-based application that allows users to create,
                                   update and modify spreadsheets and share the data live online. Google Spreadsheet has the
                                   ability to add, delete and sort rows and columns. The application also enables multiple,
                                   geographically dispersed users to collaborate on a spreadsheet in real time and chat through a
                                   built-in instant messaging program. Users can upload spreadsheets directly from their computers.
                                   Remember an upcoming expenditure while watching TV at home? Just switch on your home
                                   PC, access the internet, login to the Web-based spreadsheet, and enter that expense. With this
                                   facility of Google Spreadsheet creating, updating and editing budgets anywhere anytime has
                                   become possible.

                                   Such budget collaborations are interactive. For instance, you want a new laptop and you enter
                                   this item into your Web-based budget with its cost. Your brother however feels that it is expensive
                                   and can wait. Your brother can simply go online and lower the budget for that item or delete it.
                                   4.6 Collaborating on Contact Lists


                                   Contacts are important. It can get difficult to manage hundreds of contacts. A good option of
                                   storing and managing contacts of friends, family, business associates and others is to use a
                                   Web-based program for contact management. There are few different ways to save contacts that
                                   can be retrieved when needed.
                                   Web-based email program such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc. can be used as essential contact
                                   management programs. All such programs help you to keep your contacts in place. With these
                                   web based email programs you can create and save all significant information about your
                                   contacts in your email account. However, the only drawback of using such email oriented
                                   programs for saving contacts is that every time you or any other family member needs to look
                                   for a specific contact, they will have to sign in using the same email program and same email
                                   address.
