z New Eraser Nib Shape: The Eraser tool in CorelDraw contains a square nib to allow users
edit work in a limited space. This feature lets users create knock outs from an object.
z Enhanced Line Segment Functionality: A segment is a line of two nodes. There are two
types of segment: Line which is a straight segment and Curve in which the nodes have
control handles for adjustment. Users can join or add to selected line segments with cursor
feedback. Selecting a line segment and then the freehand tool lets the user select the start
or end node of the fine segment and extend it by drawing with the freehand tool.
z Perspective Drop Shadow: Drop shadows simulate light falling on an object from one of
five particular perspectives: flat, right, left, bottom and top. You can add drop shadows to
most objects or groups of objects, including artistic text, paragraph text, and bitmaps.
Drop shadows created in CorelDraw are ideal for printed outputs, but are not appropriate
for output to devices such as vinyl cutters and plotters.
