Example: You can check text statistics to count text elements, including the number of
lines, words, characters, and the names of the fonts and styles used. You can display statistics
either for selected text objects or for the entire drawing. If no text is selected, all text elements in
the drawing, including tab and space characters, are counted.

8.1.2 Compatibility and Integration Features

CorelDraw is compatible with numerous features that include the following:

Support for Corel PHOTO-PAINT and Adobe Photoshop File Formats

CorelDraw also external linking of CPT (Corel photo-paint) and PSD(Adobe Photoshop) files
preventing users to convert them to another file format.

IXLA’s Digital Camera Interface enables Corel software developers to implement direct camera
support for over 120 digital cameras via the plug-and-play interface of CorelDraw. Images can
be acquired directly from digital cameras thus eliminating the need for a third-party interface to
move images from camera to computer before editing.

sharing, and review.

8.1.3 Bitmap Features

Bitmap is a mapping from some domain (for example, a range of integers) to bits (values zero or
one). It is also called a bit array or bitmap index.

Increased Rasterization Limit

For users creating who create large media, CorelDraw allows them to convert to a bitmap
image with a resolution value as high as 10,000 dots per inch (dpi).

Corel TRACE Integration

To convert bitmap image to vector graphics users can send images to Corel trace. For this right-
click on a new context menu item, or click a button on the Bitmap toolbar.
