Graphic Tools
Notes The Rectangle Tool
Click on the Rectangle tool. Release the mouse when you get the required size. Change the
shape using a SHIFT key.
The Ellipse Tool
The circle tool enables you to create a circular or oval shape. Select the circle tool, click on the
document. Drag to draw a circle or ellipse.

time because you do not have to place these elements every time you create a new issue.
Templates also help keep the paper’s style consistent.
14.6.1 Templates versus Publications
The final document created is a publication and when we open it, we work on the original copy.
Whereas a template it a copy of the final document and they can be saved as temporary files that
are yet to be completed.
