Business letters differ from other kinds of writing activities in several ways. First, it is usually
addressed to only one specific person and thus, it is important for the writer to think about the
reader with a ‘you-point’ or ‘you-attitude’. Second, every business letter can be a legal document
or contract so that it is important to have a good strategy for letter writing.
There are various kinds of letters following in and out of a business organization. The simple reason
is that the organization has to keep in touch with the world outside that comprises its suppliers,
customers, government departments, banks, insurance agencies, transporters, job-seekers and
