Cloud computing is based on the Internet cloud and depends on Internet access.
Cloud computing is definitely the next big thing. This however does not make it the best
thing for everyone.
The apps are run from the cloud when a desktop PC does not have to run or store a number
of software-based applications.
Money is always tight on college campuses, and a few hundred dollars savings per student
adds up quickly.
