Notes Job Analysis: The job analysis is a technique for investigating general work assignment or jobs.
Job Description: Job Description is an organized factual statement of job contents in the form of
duties and responsibilities of a specific job.
Job Evaluation: Job evaluation as evident from the word itself aims at evaluating the job and
not the person. It is a process of evaluating and determining the value of the job for a library.
Job Specification: Job Specification is a statement which tells us minimum acceptable human
qualities which helps to perform a job. It translates the job description into human qualifications
so that a job can be performed in a better manner.
Judgment: Judgment refers to the use of knowledge and experience in making the decisions.
