We can use frame borders to resize frames and select areas of the frameset.
11.5.3 Deleting Frames
You may need to delete one or more of frames in a frameset. You can do this easily through the
steps given below:
1. Click the frame border and drag it into the border of the enclosing (or parent) frame.
2. When no parent frame is present, drag the frame border to the edge of the page.
3. If the frame being deleted contains any unsaved content, Dreamweaver asks if you would
like to save the file before closing it.
11.5.4 Targeting Frame Content
Frames are also used for navigational control. The frame that acts as the navigation centre,
provides links to various Web pages in a site. When the user selects one of the links, the Web
page appears in another frame on the page. This frame can scroll independently of the navigation
frame. When you assign a link to appear in a particular frame of your Web page, you are said to
be assigning a target for the link. You can target specific frames in your Web page, and target
structural parts of a frameset.
Did u know? The Text and Image Property inspectors are used to assign targets for typical
text or image links.
