Subtracting and Intersecting Selections Notes
Just like it is possible to add to an existing selection, you can also subtract from a selection (Hold
Alt when drawing a new selection) and intersect selections (Hold Shift and Alt while drawing a
new selection).
Move Tool
The Move Tool is used for moving selected areas of an image, layers, shapes, and other objects.
To move a selected part of an image, simply select the move tool, and then click and drag your
selection as you please. This will Cut the selection out from its current location, and reposition
it to wherever you release the mouse button.

4.2 Editing Selections
After getting the general outline of your selection or mask down pat, Photoshop provides the

Basically all selections are actually gray scale masks underneath, you need to use the right tools
that can control the boundaries of a mask in order to make your selections more precise.
4.2.1 Refine Edge
Refine Edge is a very useful tool for all kinds of users like photographers and home users. It
easily helps you replace tricky backgrounds and fine details (soft edges and hair) from a photo.
