7.2.2 Presdo

Imagine walking into a conference and knowing every attendee’s professional background.
With Presdo Match’s LinkedIn API integration, Presdo Match users can easily discover other
event attendees with similar professional interests. After discovery, users can seamlessly connect
with each other using Presdo Match’s simple interface.
Presdo is a deceptively simple online scheduler that lets people use natural language inputs to
set up meetings with friends and colleagues. Venues can be selected via a Google map mashup.
And both time and place remain flexible until everyone agrees on them. Presdo Match, a service
that dramatically simplifies event social networking and scheduling, provides relevant member
profile information for its event attendees by leveraging the LinkedIn API. Presdo was created
and coded by Eric Ly, the founding chief technology officer of LinkedIn.
