7.4.8 Importing Text Notes
In case we need to import text from an external source, we can do that easily using the steps
below:
1. Using the Text tool, position the cursor in the text frame where you want to import the
text.

Caution If you do not have a text frame in the document, skip step 1 and proceed to step 2.
2. Click File Import.
3. Choose the drive and folder where the file is stored.
4. Click the filename.
5. Click Import.
6. In the Importing/Pasting text dialog box, choose one of the following options:
Maintain fonts and formatting
Maintain formatting only
Discard fonts and formatting
7. Do one of the following:
Position the import cursor in the drawing page, and click.
Click and drag on the drawing page to define the size of the text frame.
Press the Spacebar to place the imported text in the default location.
