Introduction

There was a time when learning theories were give importance in the field of education. Gradually

on the basis of experience and research, it was discovered that learning theories are unable to solve
the problems of teaching. So, academics and psychologists are trying to understand the nature of
teaching by using technical theories. As a result, teaching theories are developing. In this area, names
of Cronback, Gagne etc. are remarkable.
