                   3.7 Summary

                    •  Educational Technology is composed of two words—education and technology.
                    •  Communication is that process in which people exchange thoughts to each other by means of general
                       awareness.
                    •  According to Lugis and Vegal—“Communication is that process which changes the ideas, opinions
                       and attitudes of people by using information, instructions and decision under the social system.”
                    •  Communication is social process which establishes human relationships, strengthens them and
                       develops them. Communication process is bounded in social structure in such way that it is not
                       possible to imagine a social life without communication.
                    •  There should be an effective educational communication for effective teaching.
                    •  Channel refers to a medium through which message transmits from sender to receiver.
                    •  The continuity of communication is required to make impressive-teaching-learning process dynamic,
                       active and vibrant.
                    •  Language is always used in verbal communication.
